Shreyarth University Concludes High-Impact Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Journalism
AHMEDABAD, September 26, 2026: The Shri Shantilal Shah Centre for Media Excellence at Shreyarth University hosted a specialised workshop, “AI Workshop for Media, PR & Journalists,” today at the Shri H. K. Commerce College campus on Ashram Road, Ahmedabad. The workshop was a success.
More than 60 journalism and mass communication students took part, along with industry veterans, newspaper proprietors and senior editors. Delegates and representatives from more than 12 leading media houses from Gujarat, across India and abroad also attended the interactive session.
The masterclass was led by AI strategist and consultant Mr. Vision Raval, who gave in-depth training on the modern AI tools that are changing newsrooms. Mr. Raval showed practical techniques in prompt engineering, intelligent editorial workflows and newsroom automation. He also explained the emerging field of Agentic AI: how multi-agent frameworks, autonomous agents and automated pipelines are set to reshape digital reporting, investigative research, content curation and fact-checking.
The session ended with a lively open forum. Students and media leaders discussed how to adapt responsibly to newsrooms that are increasingly automated and run with AI agents.
