Today, February 7, 2026, marks the beginning of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. This grand tournament is being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. A total of 20 teams are participating in the tournament, with 55 matches scheduled to be played.
The tournament’s opening match was played between Pakistan and the Netherlands at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, where Pakistan secured victory by 3 wickets.
Defending champions Team India will play their first match today evening at 7:00 PM at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai against the USA.
