Navjeevan Express Diwali Special
Raythanwala, Rajasthan–Gujarat Border | October 22, 2025
This Diwali was celebrated in a truly remarkable way by four young visionaries who chose to spend the festival of lights not in the comfort of cities, but at the nation’s edge — with the brave soldiers of the Border Security Force (BSF) stationed at Raythanwala, the last BSF post on the Rajasthan border near Gujarat.
Their visit was more than a celebration — it marked the beginning of an extraordinary national initiative titled “Project Operation Sindoor”, a BSF-assigned documentation and awareness project dedicated to exploring and preserving the legacy and contribution of BSF during Operation Sindoor.

A National Legacy Entrusted to Young Professionals
The BSF has officially entrusted Project Operation Sindoor to four professionals, each contributing unique expertise to this national tribute.

Mr. Ravi Bhatt, a noted author and researcher, will lead the project’s content development and historical documentation, capturing the stories of courage, strategy, and sacrifice associated with Operation Sindoor.
Dr. Tejas Mojidra, a creative director and design specialist, will handle the project’s visual and conceptual design elements, blending art with patriotism.
Mr. Vision Raval will bring a modern technological touch to the project, ensuring it integrates digital innovation and interactive storytelling.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ritesh Vyas, the Founder of Indo Lion Club, will coordinate the entire initiative with BSF, overseeing communication, planning, and on-ground execution.
Together, the four experts aim to create a national platform that honors the BSF’s valor while connecting their legacy with the citizens of India.
Experiencing the Frontline
During their visit to Raythanwala, the team lived and learned alongside BSF personnel, gaining first-hand insight into life at the border. They interacted closely with officers and soldiers, understanding the operation-level strategies, field formations, artillery systems, and surveillance mechanisms that define BSF’s readiness and strength along India’s western frontier.
Through these interactions, the team gained authentic knowledge of BSF’s operational excellence — an experience that will form the foundation of Project Operation Sindoor’s documentation and storytelling.
A Diwali of Honour and Harmony
The Indo Lion Foundation organized a special “Diwali Sanmaan Ceremony” at the post, celebrating the festival in the spirit of unity and gratitude. The team distributed sweets, placed flower garlands around the necks of jawans, and expressed heartfelt appreciation for their tireless service to the nation.
The evening reached an emotional peak with a live patriotic performance by singer Saleem (of the Saleem–Sulaiman duo), whose voice resonated through the desert air — a melody of patriotism and pride that transformed the border post into a symbol of hope and national unity.
Vision and Dialogue for the Future

The four-member team also held an in-depth discussion with BSF Inspector General and senior officials, focusing on the broader vision of Project Operation Sindoor. The dialogue included exploring the role of robotics and new-age technology in border defense, the collection of historical data and first-hand narratives from veterans, and the planning of future nationwide awareness programs that highlight BSF’s contribution to national security and humanitarian service.
These discussions laid the groundwork for a long-term partnership between BSF and Indo Lion Foundation, where literature, technology, and citizen awareness will converge to celebrate the unsung heroes of India’s frontlines.
Lighting Hearts, Not Just Lamps
“This Diwali, we didn’t just light diyas — we lit hearts, by celebrating with those who illuminate our borders with courage,” said Mr. Ravi Bhatt, one of the project leads.
Project Operation Sindoor will continue to evolve in the coming months, culminating in a grand national launch event, where the official concept and title will be revealed. The initiative stands as a testament to BSF’s unwavering dedication, discipline, and bravery — and to the spirit of young Indians who choose to celebrate the nation before themselves.
